We strive to tap into a teen’s need for greater independence with challenges and goals that aim for a sense of achievement. Teens enjoy methods for older beginners with fun songs and genres they’re interested in.
Teen students earn rewards for completing weekly assignments, practice goals and memorization. They also participate in occasional contests with incentives to keep them motivated and working toward their music goals.
Dana encourages students to play for the school choir or jazz band, perform at nursing homes, or play in the church youth band. She gives them the tools to reach the confidence they need to excel musically and use their gifts and talents for performance and ministry.
